From today's issue of The Australlian (p.18, "Turnaround key to Vocus as second suitor exits"):

"Now attention turns to what AGL Energy could be looking at in terms of acquisition opportunities. It is understood that the company remains eager to buy an asset in the telecommunications space, but there are few opportunities. One could be mobile and energy plan rpovider Amaysim, although some say it is not large enough to move the needle, while another idea is that it may move to acquire a stake in the Virgina Australia's Velocity Frequent Flyer business, up for sale through private equity firm Affinity."

Since TGV Langfrist have a blocking minority - and potentially even a 25% minority able to even block a scheme or arrangement through concerting shareholders - and since their acquisition price sits around $1.24 AGL would very likely need to pay a hefty premium of some 100% to secure their approval.
