Lion Selection (including African Lion) hold a combined 15.5 per cent of EQR. BHP-Billiton has 9.9 per cent and London based M & G (part of Prudential plc) holds 5.9 per cent.
Main focus for EQR has been the Lumwana copper project in NW Zambia. Good outline on this project can be downloaded from their website. It is dated August 2003.
To date the project has 901.2 million tonnes grading 0.70% copper. Currently contains metal of 6.3 mill tonnes of copper, 89,000 tonnes cobalt, 8,400 tonnes uranium and potential gold credits.
The main drivers behind the company are Craig Williams and Bruce Nisbet who were instrumental in the Ernest Henry discovery.
I rang the company a couple of weeks ago and they expect the Lumwana BFS to be release in the second week of October. It is currently undergoing an independent audit. Cheers John. I must declare i own a truck load of EQR.
