When i fist started buying APZ it was $1.22 around GFC times. At 17c that is a 700% reduction in value.

All valid questions, until you see clear evidence that APZ are becoming transaparent, don't touch it. The renumeration is not tied to performance and is very high in my opinion.

If you look at the recent announcements, none of them have been crystal clear. The 27 June was the start of the slide. Where they suspended the div, and noted the put option. It took me 3 rounds of emails to get them to clarify the amount here. No good company should put out an update that refers to some reference in previous updates for the info.
Also most of the other issues would have been known internally within APZ by end June with the closing of the books.
