I really appreciate the time you took to write down your observations and thoughts.

I have to admit that I have not gone through the accounts with a fine toothed comb to give you a decent response.

You could try your luck with contacting Allan Gray and see if their analyst who looks after Aspen will speak to you. I probably would if I was an analyst, as they never know if you might pick up something they have missed. (Although I obviously cannot speak for them).

One thing that may assist is that the RBA is reducing rates, and seems intent on continuing to do so. Some covenants will obviously gain headroom due to this. Also it may tend to inflate the property market, or possibly provide a buyer due to easier credit terms and rates.

I may be wrong but I think if they "let a fund go" - their name might become mud with all lenders, even without cross guarantees. I doubt they will do so. However I am trying to think of examples to back this assertion up. No time to check this right now.
