I think showman from the UMC thread used to work for BHP and mentioned a bunch of the successful iron ore and other juniors that have gone into production and become billion dollar companies, all got their assets from BHP. I'd say more do it this way than exploration drilling, Australia has been well explored.


I mentioned in a previous post, RIO were looking at rock phospate as part of an intergrated DAP plant. It might only be a few years difference but its chalk and cheese.
