Close to $380m already spent, plus the total amount that will be expended keeps decreasing due to efficient backfill operations that are ahead of schedule and under cost.
They have a bucket of cash left and a 68% shareholder who makes the tough good and tough bad decisions. That's why this thing isn't sitting at 10c and only 1.X % of shareholders [even after excluding RIO's 68% holding] bailed yesterday.
Next week will be key to see if this was a tree-shake or just a heap of investors who need a few more days to even know about the decision - and remember the decision is to hold 3 Deeps and see if economic conditions improve and the kicker, getting GNC/Mirrar to agree to post 2021 mining. The second one is the real play here.
