I wouldn't go as far as accusing them of shorting STX as we have no evidence. I understand the chinese wall concept between capital market team and the equity team, so am ok for Macca research not to display any positive bias towards STX (even though this is rampant throughout the industry). What I don't expect is for them to be acting so negative in such an obvious, biased manner.
