    That $11 billion figure is a stupid lie concocted by a political activist.
    The overwhelming majority is simply tax credits for overpaid fuel taxes - circa 80%.
    When 80% of what someone claims is a lie they have zero credibility.

    The "failure of LPG" article is already 10 years old, that's the point.
    The scheme collapsed immediately when subsidies were withdrawn, despite huge tax advantages.
    LPG fuel excise is $0.17 per litre, petrol and diesel excise is $0.51 per litre.

    Hydrogen fuel for transport is not impossible, but it is incredibly stupid and expensive.
    Government subsidies, handouts, and rebates are used to cover up those expenses.
    Just like the electricity grid...

    Australia's carbon emissions? Irrelevant.
    Practically unchanged for 20 years - with a 33% population increase.
    Global emissions increased by 8.53 billion tonnes per year in the same time frame.

    Australia's emissions - 392 million tonnes pa.
    Global emissions - 37,150 million tonnes pa.
