If that’s the case and seems like it is that’s very disappointing. In terms of legality I don’t see a chose in action.
They ( Mac ) have issued a report saying the price should be less. They then short shares to satisfy their position. There is no legal actionable claim irrespective of what people act on.
We as shareholders need to make up our own minds about this stock. Ignore the noise and focus on the fundamentals.
The company is progressing through the fundamentals and getting there. Focus on the upcoming announcements and base your comments and investment on that.
Anyway I hope this week brings something good.
