ERG Sydney Signs the Largest NSW Private Bus Operator

After a six-month, highly competitive selection process, Vix ERG’s Sydney office has recently won a contract to supply and support an upgrade solution to the largest private bus operator in the Australian state of New South Wales, Comfort Delgro Cabcharge, or CDC (also known as Westbus).

CDC is the single largest bus operator in NSW, and the second largest private bus operator in Australia, after Veolia Transport.

The contract includes the provision of supply, commissioning and maintenance services to CDC’s head office and six depots, using the proven TRACS/TP5000 bus solution. Also included is an ongoing software support agreement covering TRACS licensing, support and maintenance.

‘This success is the culmination of an excellent sales effort by Mohamad Kader over the last 9 months,’ said Frank Havelka, General Manager Asia Pacific. ‘This effort, together with the proven implementations of previous TRACS upgrades in NSW and Queensland by Darren Scofield and his team, and the able support of the TRACS product team in Perth, represents a major achievement for ERG Transit Systems.’
