Ipernica have stated a number of customers and markets for nearmap. If we just look at the federal, state and local governments and agencies it's fairly safe to say that a profit of around $25m is likely over time. That's about our current market cap. Of course if this business model works were, then there are massive pickings to be made abroad doing the same.
As for who might take us over - microsoft or google are the obvious ones. They probably wouldn't be after the nearmap business model, just the nearmap capture and processing technology. That would give them better quality images, but most importantly save them masses in time and money.
A takeover or major deal will just come out of the blue, imho. Ipernica is not a leaky ship. Hence one day the sp could be 8c, the next trading day $1.
