There's always a possibility that this "heard it in a pub" story is all made up. But I beg to differ. Sometimes one DOES hear things in public places. In 2003 I was at a Perth Japanese restaurant with a bunch of jubilant Japanese executives who had just struck a deal with Woodside. They were pretty bullish about WPL. I understood what they were saying but I failed to act, the sp back then was around ten dollars.
