Yes today's rise was very convincing on the XSO. I was impressed - until I did a little more digging.

But consider the following:

Increase in Index value by XAO over the previous day: 1.2%
Increase in Index value by XSO over the previous day: 2.1%

Increase in Volume on XAO over the previous day: 32%
Increase in Volume on XSO over the previous day: 28%

Honestly - I don't know what to read into it.

But - just maybe, just maybe, punting is the more dominant factor in our market at the moment than rational assessment.

I do get nervous when all the balls don't line up.

If risk taking is dominant - shouldn't volume increase be dominant?

Just asking the question.
