I note they sre middle aged or older people, without children, and the business people want just an hours drive to work
I believe they get a terrific deal for their money....
there are some lovely pockets of land, just north of Melb, and with the great tollways, it is a cinch to travel to work, if you dont have to travel in peak hour...
15 -20 minutes from Toorak to the start of the Hume Freeway,,,I left after 9.00am it was a breeze
so for the self employed, or those on flexible hours...it would be a great option
the country escape is being marketed by both the NSW and Vic govnuts, for young ones to go to the larger rural areas...
I am enjoying my regional living, 5 minutes walk to everything...but prefer my own cooking, its better than the eateries...which includes Melb's best
instead of eating out, you entertain at home
I had a flock of the tiniest birds at my windows this week, I have yet to identify them, they were not the fantails, and no marks like the finches
I have moved on from the city lifestyle...
