Hi aquaspan,
My opinion -
A stock potential is measured by its fundamentals and ESG has great fundamentals.
The low for ESG was about 65cts and I believe that was sometime in late Feb or early Mar 2010.
Smart money would have bought ESG at that price and in the absence of any confirmation of a Takeover, aggressive interest from the big boys, the toppish sentiment,
smart money threw it out and took money off the table.
From 65cts to $1.03, that is substantial.
I feel ESG is also being played and watched by the
real traders and institutions with deep pockets and they are the ones who will spike or depress the price at will.
nothing wrong with ESG, just market doing what it is suppose to be doing... making money, moving in and out.
And you are right to say that ESG does not look good today, but only basing on the trend of the SP today and I am hazarding a guess here, prehaps even tomorrow.
At $1.3- $1.04, there appears little volume to support
this price at the moment in the absence of news.
I will go in again at 95cts and lower.
Good luck all
