Matt,
You mean the value of Dart Energy?
The current market price for Arrow is valuing Dart at a little over 30 cents per Arrow share, which is too low, IMO. There a number of posters on the Arrow thread who have broken down the value, so they are worth a read...
Ok, so even if you don't think another bid is coming for Arrow, it is cheap leverage if there IS another bid. And if not, your risk reversal is that you get a cheap entry point into Arrow's international assets/shares in other CSG companies.
In response to Minerva - Mangels has the most credibility..? That is possibly the silliest comment I have ever heard on this thread, bar none. Sillier even than Mangels own contributions. But if Mangels is your next investment guru, good luck with that! :)
And $1.30? You are dreaming. Have a look at the register of who owns how many shares. There is ZERO chance the directors, large shareholders and 2nd tier of large holders are going to sell for $1.30. Nada. Zippo. None.
ESG is tightly held, which is part of its strategic value. Arrow directors owned only 1.5% of Arrow.
But Santos, if you think you can get ESG for $1.30, GO FOR IT. $1.30... quite literally, they will be making the same mistake twice. No one could be that stupid.
