Rob Little (page 56 Fin Review) has obviously been followiny Yaq.
He calls Shell's 2nd offer lowball and says "But perhaps some good may come from this. Other potential bidders now have the luxury of knowing that Arrow is a willing seller at a price that still undervalues the target.....Surely there is now an attractive opening for one or more of the other large consortiums proposing Gladstone-based LNG projects to pounce, not only to acquire more reserves but ...(to simplify consolidation of Gladstone LNG interests)." He mentions BG, Origin-Conoco and Santos and concludes "Let the games begin."
So as always, we have 2 schools of thought out there. Hope Rob Little has it right - but its not all about Gladstone.
