Folks,

I saw it on the ABC-NSW 7pm news on austar and while it was balanced after a fashion .. and John Anderson came across very well ... it still gave too much prominence to central castings spotty-dishevelled-t-shirted greens spokesman who some how got the reporter to conclude her piece by describing the Pilliga scrub as a 'Jewel of NSW'

Good grief ... lots of images of bare cleared land .. none of rehabilitated corridors.

IMO ESG should add an Environmental Impacts page to their website ASAP ... where amongst other things they could show some time series images of pillaga revegetation and other species recruitment data. All the data's out there (with the state agencies and university science departments) they just need to search the literature and post links to it.

The cost of putting an enviromental science graduate onto this sort of project for 6-12 months would be small beer.
