Similar events have been taking place in IIN (iiNet) where a trade of 8 shares goes through every few minutes. I was wondering what that was actually trying achieve.
With the current government in turmoil and facing losing office at the next election. Now may be an opportune time for HCers to phone, email or write to members of federal parliament (or prospective candidates) demanding for the prohibition of the [1]immoral practice.
Quite frankly, I would like to see the outlawing of "short selling" .

[1] I used the term "immoral" as opposed to "legal"(or "illegal") as the two can have vastly different meanings in the financial world.
