For big events, security should be extremely tight.

If people are worried or scared to go to internet cafes and small-time LAN events, regional qualifiers and so on. If it's a legitimate concern that being shot is something that may happen...

Use Mogul Arena instead. No need to fly across the country to sleep on the floor of your teammates bedroom so that you can get up early and get smoked by a bunch of Koreans in the pool stages of your Starcraft tournament and THEN potentially be shot because the security guard is some staunch drop kick who's on his phone on a chair by the door.
