For reference, WEC's claims its tech reduces the moisture content of the sub-bit coal from ~40% to <9% and increases the calorific value from ~14 to 22Mj/kg (lets see how the 1MTPa proves up) not entirely inferior to coldry specs. Coldry is superior on many fronts, feed stock (lignite vs sub-bit, WEC didn't bother releasing their testing results on lignite to the market), lower ash levels, potable water as an inherent process output, lower carbon footprint due to the natural expresion of water from the lignite after attritioning.
