Carbon Capture in a large enough scale will never happen.
Until the participants and companies involved accept full responsibility of any leakage funding will not happen for a large scale carbon capture.
Governments talk the talk but never provide the entire funding for carbon capture or will accept responsibility for future carbon leakage.
Therefore a standstill exists.
Far better to retrofit existing lignite power stations or build new super critical stations run on black coal or invest in wind farms / solar / Tesla lithium energy storage than potential problems associated with carbon capture.
Maybe Hazelwood Power station could be next on the governments agenda to run on a cleaner fuel.
