    Eskimo Restaurant - that's offensive.

The chocolate-covered ice cream bars known as Eskimo Pies have a new name. From now on, they'll be called Edy's Pies, after one of the company's founders, Joseph Edy. The name change comes after Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, which makes the treat, acknowledged its original name was offensive. Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream is a business unit of Nestle.

Flushed with success  of having the brand name Eskimo Pie abandoned, Inuit jingoes  will be after that restaurant owner.

Imagine Germans insisting that the word "German" is offensive, because they call themselves Deutsche, and the Dutch, French, Hungarians, Chinese, Japanese et alii will want us to call them by the name they use themselves. It goes further, the English names for towns, cities and districts typically do not match the names used by the inhabitants in them. Eau de Cologne would have to be renamed Kölnisch Wasser
