Wow, who in their right mind would think a short length of rail like that will take 10 years to build? Even within our heavily regulated construction industry I've been involved in numerous Pilbara railways construction projects of say 40-50km in length being built and commissioned in 18-24 months. These railways involve larger embankments and heavier gauge rail than what is needed for coal freight. 2 years seems achieveable for mine.
