First hole was collared Thursday, maybe Wednesday.

With a diamond drill pushing around 20–25 metres per day (on a good run), and factoring in the usual teething problems, — new crew, new rig, unfamiliar ground — we’re probably somewhere between 60 to 75 metres deep by now.

It’s early days, but this phase is critical.

This isn't just about breaking ground — it’s about syncing the team, calibrating the gear, adjusting for local geology, and making sure every metre counts. Don’t be surprised if the pace picks up once the kinks are ironed out.

Progress may look slow on the surface, but underground is where the real story is forming.
