In my opinion the actions of the CFO re reporting of the problem is the best guide as to the size and type of the problem.At this point the die is cast as Jevalent said.From now on either the CFO or the CEO must go and there is no getting away from this fact.Based on my experience most companies want their monies back and this is the first and prime commercial step as far as addressing the problem.
Lengthy police investigations and Court procedures were to be avoided as much as possible.
