    There is also the matter of caesium. This is a very strategic metal, more so with the roll out of 5G communication networks. It is vital to so much of modern technology including defense technology. There is no producing mine for the main ore, pollucite, in the whole world. And we have the last producing mine, a small, viable, mineable deposit and the surrounding area which must be the best place in the world to look for future deposits. It appears that China has control of most of the world's stockpile of caesium and caesium chemicals. Given the current suspicion of China, which has driven the Lynas deal, there must be a fair chance that a deal with ESS on the other vital strategic metal controlled by China, caesium, could not be far off.
