I don’t disagree with you re the value of being a green mine. If you look at Vulcan energy, their whole thing was being a lithium producer with zero emissions. I was very close to jumping on them at 12c but passed, I think they hit $2.40 the other day. So seems the market likes where they are coming from (they do have a pretty good looking register too though which is a big help).
But rummy I think you will find that Cxo in fact is looking towards the green alternative. In recent announcements they have said that they are now looking to ditch diesel power and instead opt for a grid connection. They say this is because of the increased mine life, but IMO I’m thinking it could be more as a result of transamine and the european battery and mineral alliances we have. I mean, if the plan is to diversify into Europe and/or even be financed by Europe, there’s no doubt Cxo is going to have to go green. I think management are well aware of this. I can’t remember if i read it somewhere or was told but I believe Cxo will be looking at battery powered mining trucks and the like if/when/should they start rolling off the production lines and become readily available.
So you are slowly getting your wish rummy. The company is looking to go greener as it is likely a requirement for European financing.
