suggest you write to the company re; "considering they had security of $2.5m over Hoffmeisters personal assets" and ask why they are writing off the full amount when they have not persued the personal guarantee of Hoffmeister.
Also, i dont know how they can show a loss on interest not received - i mean nil interest is nil isnt it? they didnt book any interest income, so where is the loss?
