Not sure what a "gentle" frac means, I can only assume they mean a relatively small one. If this is the case, I draw the following conclusions, (1) they believe they damaged the well during drilling and they want to frac past it (in which case the productivity improvement can be significant relative to the last flow rate they obtained) or (2) the thickness of the sand and the properties of the formation above and below the sand do not permit a large frac (in which case the productivity improvement would be more modest) or (3) a combination of the two. In any event, this gives me more confidence of commercial flow rates... although as always I'm working with very little to go on...
