Some back-filling of the thread with historical information

    Production through to June 2021
The 4th March 2021 announcement noted first ore processing was planned for the second half of March. Initial reports during 2021 didn't quote volumes. The first trucks departed site on 8 June so initial trucking capacity was around 650t/d.

The Half year accounts confirmed closing June 2021 inventory was 30,708t so processing was an acceptable circa 15kt/mth during ramp-up. There is a small oddity in the ore volumes stated. 14,233 was hauled to port yet port inventory is quoted as 14,515. 32,014 was quoted as being processed but finished product volumes total 30,708 when site and inventory volumes are added together.

Production for the 5 months through to December 2021
This period was impacted by the log washer fault. 74,497 was processed (circa 15kt/mth allowing for one month down-time). A laydown area at Pippingarra was established to allow larger shipments. 93,991t was stated as being shipped in the half year accounts.
    • The first shipment on Shakespeare Bay operated by Pacific Basin and was noted as about 27,000t (ref 15 July 2021). SB has a DWT capacity of 32,256
    • The second shipment on Taokas Wisdom was noted as about 27,000t (ref 1 Sept 2021). Taokas has a DWT capacity of 31,943
    • The third shipment MV Top Fair departed on 5 December. The shipping volume wasn't confirmed in the 13 Dec announcement. The nominal capacity was noted as 47kt(13Dec). The 1 Feb announcement noted 41,000t. Top Fair has a DWT capacity of 55,256
    • The individual shipment volumes total 95,000t so there was 1t of upwards rounding across the three of them.
    • There is still a gap in the maths. 30,708+74,497-93,991=11,214 but the stated closing inventory balance is 8,973

    Production through to March 2022
Production for this quarter was 51,228 (17kt/mth). With an opening inventory of 8,973 there was a total of 60,201 available for shipping.
The closing stockpile was 26,164 indicating circa 34,037 was shipped. Given the earlier gaps between production and shipping/closing ore volumes, it may have lower than 34kt. E25 had a really good day on 3 Jan 2022 with 1,209t of production.
The shipment during the quarter was on Angelic Anna who has a DWT capacity of 37,187t.

    Production through to June 2022
No production volume guidance has been given. The shipping update of 26 May confirmed MV Aquamarine SW departed with 35,002t. Aquamarine has a DWT of 37,119t so this loading is the highest percentage of DWT so far. This shipment was also noted as being a high silica shipment. This shipment provides limited guidance on production volumes because of the closing 26kt stockpile at March.
