Because they make their money through commissions, the whole business model is wrong they get paid regardless of returns. When a smart financial business starts a business model that ties their returns to their clients the industry may have some credibility i.e your client earns 10% you earn 15% your client has a loss you re pay so they break even. SIMPLE.
