I've only been in E Super since late jan, couldn't be any easier to set up, E Super do all the paperwork you only need to work out how /who you want as your trustee. I was lucky in that I had trustee already set up with my company & family trust.
My main gripe would be the super funds that have your funds at present, I had 1 personal & 3 industry funds (small amounts)to rollover MY super from, All the industry funds wanted different info to finalise the transfers, this took 2 weeks, 4 weeks & 8 weeks to get funds thru & start investing in the shares I wanted !!!
I do agree that the $30 brokerage is a pain but considering the freedom of investing, no hidden costs or fees I think its a small price to pay
