If you only have $17k, I would think about staying with ING no matter how bad they are or transfer to a low fee industry fund.
$599 for esuperfund plus the $150 ATO levy is $750 a year or 4.4% a year - that is a high ratio and more than you would pay with ING and much more than you would pay with an industry fund.
