I haven't used any other self-manageing platform. Apart from this short of overseas stock trading feature, they increased the fees constantly (well, less service, more fees). Communications with the support teams seems alright, all via email and response time is reasonable.
I eventually set up another trading account with CMC. Very painful lengthy process (~4 months). This was after I spend almost 2 months with Commsec with no avail as they don't support trusts with more than 2 trustees (really stupid as the biggest broker).
Hope this helps.
