Entertainment Media deal with GalaVu

(RWE Australian Business News) - The Following the recent announcement of the positive operating cash flow for the September quarter of $1.135 million, the directors of Entertainment Media & Telecoms Corporation Ltd today confirmed a binding term sheet has been signed with GalaVu Entertainment Network Inc setting out the agreed terms for EMT's acquisition of the GalaVu business.

The acquisition represents a significant step in EMT's global expansion of its core activity of supplying and operating in-room guest entertainment systems to the hospitality industry.

The acquisition produces a number of significant economic and strategic benefits to EMT including broadening its product range to service a wider cross section of hotels including the substantial three and four star hotel markets.

Mr Peter Dykes, executive chairman of EMT, today expressed great satisfaction with the GalaVu acquisition, noting the longstanding position and reputation of GalaVu in the Canadian and North American markets.
