Over recent months, I've started to dabble more and more in ETFs.
Are there any opinions on the market makers that the various ETF providers use? I've noticed that Betashares seem to generally have fairly tight spreads between what (presumably) the market makers are putting up as their bid and offer, which I like.
Also a question...
For international equities, what do the market makers take their queues from, actual 'live' market prices (as you would get with Asian equities), the previous nights closing price (for European and US equities), or those closing prices, adjusted by the live futures market?
ie Europe finished up last night, but whilst our market was open, The Donald launched some cruise missiles, which would then take the futures down.
