May be the petrol bowsers will have both ethonol and non-ethonol blended petrol with a substantial price penalty to use the non-ethanol blends just as there currently is for leaded and unleaded petrol. So if people then use the ethanol blend and their car engine does not take kindly to it, the government will argue that the vehicle drivers only have themselves to blame.
