There's been alot of talk lately about the prima board changes and share price performance. What many have forgotten here is what they initially invested in. Yes we are all here to make money but if we can be involved in a company that has the prospect of taking a drug the whole distance and one day does just that and saves lives then all the better. Then imagine what your investment will look like in the future. Yes there will be ups and downs especially with the current market fluctuations but many of good stocks are sitting lower then 6 months ago and realistically one must look at their investment and decide did they invest in this for the long term future that cvac will offer to both its shareholders and foremost its patients.
Some here have been going on about the board changes and Martin Rogers resignation and then being reinstated. Well all i can say is that i am happy he is back on board and moving prr forward. Don't forget he is the one that turned prr's and our fortunes around when this company was sitting and struggling with no cash nor a team capable of taking cvac forward. Prima is now sitting on a nice cash balance and a team that is experienced and ready to take cvac into the final trial phase.
We have lost the services of Atta and in his replacement we have gotten Neil Frazer the brother of Ian frazer. I can say that i have met Neil at the last prima meeting and his wealth of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm for primas projects both cvac and oral gardasil really made me walk away more confident then ever before. He is a great acquisition for the board. Maybe prior to prima moving into phase 2b/3 the board was right as it was but now we are set to move towards commercialisation a stronger board both scientifically and business wise is needed to take this all the way. We have been told that a new chairman is on the way. I for one cant wait to see who it is. I'm thinking someone with the name and experience to help prima achieve its potential.
I have been a prima shareholder now for 2 years and believe that there is an opportunity here to be involved in an ethical investment that will not only deliver great returns but also offer a meaningful cancer vacine that will help sufferers out there that may even be someone you or i know.
