I have had no feedback from these people, except the usual letter asking for payment and a receipt after payment with a blank page ready for me to send a letter to the child. Unfortunately it pulls at the heart string as it is affiliated wth a Balinese Orphanage. It is a gift under the ITAA but it is one of the things that I think I will pull back on. Quite possibly, charities may suffer somewhat in 2009 as people bunker down and look after their own.
