Well i look at it through the eyes of the economist and "opportunity cost" .. why would i layout a bunch of money now only to possibly actualise more shares at BYR in the future.. maybe if BYR was the only stock it may be worth gambling that the share price might except 5.5 c in the future and it would be worth your while.

    1. Buy them now for 2.2 (less half the price)
    2. In this deflationary environment 5.5 cent could very well have more opportunity cost so paying 5c may be less justifiable than in today's market (who knows what bargains the future will bring for your 5c?)
    3. Better options to invest / speculate / gamble with
    4. Stock never reaches 5.5 c and you wasted your initial layout at .5c
    5. The mere fact there is now a 5c option on the table implies a cap of 5.5c or close as option will be exercised at thise point and likely profit taking when-ever it exceeds this price point

It really depends on your conviction on this company and confidence they will do much better in the future (but wont they all?) And in that scenario why would you not just load up today at half the price with no restriction or drawback?

I wont be buying more as the opportunity cost of not buying depressed stocks elsewhere is too high.. perhaps my lack of perfect information leads me to an erroneous conclusion but that's the murky muddy waters we are trading in. Mud because its a no-brainer not interested offer for me personally.. would love to hear a scenario where it was worth the outlay for a future great opportunity to buy more at double the price .. maybe you are broke now but really want more and think this is the only horse to back to get rich?
