the enviros will most definitely be against it. very hard to change their view from this position but they are ticking the boxes so far. that being said they will not be the vote that counts.
this is a long site but I think the biggest hurdle they will Face is not starting, it's maintaining. there will be a lot scrutiny around this. there will be strict conditions placed on the approval. in other words they will approve the mine based on maybe unrealistic expectations to push the company away rather than be seen to lock it out. more dangling of the carrot I see coming
