I subscribe to Diggers & Drillers. Yesterday evening I received their excellent newsletter, which recommended Metminco Limited (MNC). I knew that there would be a rush for the share and tried to place an order at about 10pm last night at $0.37 (the closing price yesterday being $0.255).
Etrade did not allow me to place the bid due to the fact that it was too far above the closing price (or words to that effect). It kept refusing my order until I dropped it to $0.29. MNC opened this morning at $0.39 and had a daily low point (till now) of $0.355. I confirmed with Etrade that they have this limitation.
What can I do to be able to compete on the market without one hand tied behind my back?
