    For years I used both E*Trade and Commsec (had specific reason for using more than one).Now use only E*Trade.

    I regard E* Trade as being so far superior as to be be beyond copmparison with Commsec.Even taking account of the recent outage.

    Regarding brokerage cost comparisons, that depends on the size of ones trades.

    To each his own!
