I have had an account with them for several years now and nothing has changed.
Etrade has a habit of going down at important turning points in the market. When questioned the response is always the same, they are having server problems and are in the process of upgrading so it doesn't happen again. WEARS A BIT THIN AFTER SEVERAL YEARS.
My account is now sitting empty.
ETRADE HAS NO CONCERN FOR ITS CLIENTS WELL-BEING. BE WARNED!
