site went down around 10.02, guy I spoke to over 10 mins later insisted the site was still up, until he actually checked and confirmed, yes, shock horror, it is down. he also reckoned I was the first person to mention it, so he'd notify his team. seriously? it's been down for over half an hour now, as confirmed by isitdownrightnow.com
they really don't care about their customers. I've already signed up to directshares in last 10 mins. hope people leave them en masse, then they might start to take it seriously.
