I have told my brother that many times to get away from e-trade cause on the most important days in the market, it always goes down. He told me he even tried to ring e-trade this morning and they have been engaged for over an hour.

i trade through amscotline, they're the most reliable broker i've ever used, they have never ever gone down.

Highly recommend it, why pay so much more for e-trade when you can pay like half the brokerage for a 100% reliable broker? doesn't make sense to me why people stick with the likes of e-trade
