hardnfast - I lost half the graphs I had setup on my Power E*Trade account this morning. As well as other changes, I can now only have a maximum of 30 graphs open at any time.
Phoned support who first said that the changes to the platform were as a result of user requests for a change to the "look & feel" of the platform. When I pointed out the absurdety of claiming that users requested a reduction to the functionality of the platform, I received an admission that it was really a management decision to reduce the functionality in order to reduce system overheads. Allowing users to have too many things open puts a strain on system resources.
I'm also discovering other more subtle changes as I go this morning.
I would have hoped for some pre warning if not discussion before foisting such retrograde changes on users, especially as there are cheaper trading platforms available out there.
