Etrade is a farcical service, it would be hard (if not impossible) to recommend it over any comparable trading platform. Aside from when it goes off line for 'unforeseen circumstances' they rarely stick to their maintenance schedules, when service resumes it's often lumpy. Early last week all stock had the trading status of 'closed' even though the market was open. The trading time was all up the spout and not accurate. Pretty woeful.
