    I'm sure you know as well as a lot of us that polls aren't necessarily accurate. Polls pick up on a small sample of the population. Didn't the polls predict that Howard was going to lose 1998 and 2004 elections? Being guided by the polls is like not being able to see past one's nose.

    But I don't believe the good polling being enjoyed by Rudd has anything to do with his performance. I think it's the lack of performance on the part of the Libs that is the reason. I am increasingly frustrated at the Libs lack of discipline and respect for authority amongst their own ranks and frankly, voters have no alternative to the incumbents. Whilst a willing Lib voter, I won't vote Lib until they get rid of my local member Judi Moylan, as recommended by the top Lib donors.
